We Need to Help Logan Couture

and ANYONE else with Severe Hip Problems

Hey Hockey Hacks Community

I usually write many posts weeks in advance, but I believe this is so urgent that this needs to be talked about RIGHT NOW.

Logan Couture has been sidelined the whole season with what’s called Osteitis Pubis.
In the most basic sense, it’s severe inflammation of the pubic region and abdomen, making it very tough on your hip joints.

He has had trouble sleeping at night.
He has had trouble moving around like a normal human.
He has tried to come back and yet is faced with setbacks (common for O.P.)

And now he’s questioning if he’ll ever play hockey again.

I take issue with that.

When I had my hip injuries, I was thought to have Femoralacetebular Impingement (F.A.I). Basically means hip impingement.
People get surgery for that condition all the time, shaving off a bone that has (supposedly) overgrown, preventing the femur bone from moving properly.

The crazy thing is, after the surgery to “correct” the bone on bone impingement, many people’s symptoms REMAIN.

So you basically get cut into to fix your hips, and it does NOTHING except add scar tissue, and adding time to your rehab.

And by many accounts, Osteitis Pubis has the same problems where surgery doesn’t fix it.

So how did I prevent myself from potentially going through surgery?

By strength training my hips (in the most basic sense).
Using exercises and movements according to mother nature’s design.
That also trained the connective tissues, not just the muscles.
And doing that process for 2-3 years to this day.

It wasn’t the diagnosing that fixed me.
It was the training solutions that fixed me.

Look, when I completely changed my training, I eliminated the pain within 6 months.
Thankfully the problem was solved, not by shaving off bones and cutting into my body, but by training my body’s ABILITY to do things.

If you’re a hockey player in hip pain, or if you know anyone who needs help, watch this video detailing out the exact process I used to fix my hips and how I would fix Logan Couture and anyone else dealing with crippling hip pain.

It would be amazing if we could get Logan’s attention, although I don’t expect to.
If you want to help me out with that, go ahead! But please be respectful of him.

Yours in Hockey Hacks,
Mason
